O Paraíso

With this new solar album, Brazilian singer-songwriter Lucas Santtana hopes to re-enchant our life on earth.

The latest album from Bahian artist Lucas Santtana uses a combination of Brazilian rhythms, bossa nova sounds, jazz, and electronic sounds to explore a more positive outlook on a wounded world.

The album contains mostly songs written and composed by Santtana, with an interesting cover of Paul McCartney’s The Fool on the Hill, featuring Flore Benguigui from the French band L’Imperatrice.

We feature Vamos Ficar Na Terra in our playlist Sarah Picks.
