Racing The Storm

The second collaboration between Icelandic singer-songwriter Emilíana Torrini and Belgian duo The Colorist Orchestra.

Belgian duo Aarich Jespers and Kobe Proesmans, The Colorist Orchestra, join Emilíana Torrini for the second time in a unique and brilliant collaboration. Emilíana’s songwriting blends with The Colorist Orchestra’s classical chamber pop, electronic and world music influences.

Racing The Storm explores a variety of soundscapes ranging from elements of pop and hip-hop bass, atmospheric dark feel of Smoke Trails and A Scene From A Movie, and the delicate Wedding Song.

We feature Smoke Trails in our playlist Sarah Picks.
